Resourcing Advisor

Due to an internal move, we're looking for a Resourcing Advisor to join our team based out of our Solihull office working on a hybrid basis. Supporting our Resourcing Managers who are responsible for the resourcing activity across all Tarmac operations, you'll have a specific focus on engineering, production and general operational roles and you will have multiple roles to work on at any one time., Reporting to a Resourcing Manager, the Resourcing Advisor will provide an exceptional and innovative experience to Hiring Managers and candidates that ensures high calibre, engaged people are effectively recruited into the right roles.

You will also be responsible for (not exhaustive):

• Supporting the hiring process from end-to-end including placing advertisements, screening candidates and presenting shortlists to hiring managers.


• Using LinkedIn Recruiter and CV Library to directly source both active and passive candidates as well as develop a pipeline of external talent.


• Scheduling interviews and feedback calls always ensuring an excellent candidate experience.


• Provide guidance and support to candidates, employees and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.


• Supporting hiring managers with interviewing, when necessary.


• Supporting in the development, innovation and continuous improvement of all processes across the resourcing cycle.


• Proactively supporting project work across Resourcing and wider HR function.


• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent management.

• Proven in-house recruitment experience ideally within a heavy industry, manufacturing or engineering sector (although sector experience is not essential).


• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.


• Experience of sourcing candidates through direct channels, particularly LinkedIn Recruiter.


• Self-driven, can work autonomously with integrity and a proven work ethic.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.


• Strong organisational and time management skills.


• Excellent problem-solving skills.


• Desire to challenge and improve processes.


• Proactive professional who achieves deadlines, targets and objectives.
