Full Job Description

This is an exciting time to join the Talent Acquisition Coordination Team (TACT). We have 9 roles (7 Permanent and 2 Fixed Term Contracts (12 Months)) within our National Resourcing, Career Entry, Onboarding and Induction teams.

You will provide coordination support for our Volume Resourcing programme, gathering key business intelligence and coordinating the delivery of the programme to enable a professional, skilled and diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. To do this, you'll work with business leads across national and area departments and interface with our HR and Strategic Resourcing teams. You will be visible and responsible for the successful delivery of our volume campaign programme, communicating with key stakeholders along the way.

You will be passionate about the work of the Environment Agency, possessing the ability to think differently to overcome problems, and identify better ways of working.

The team

The Talent Acquisition Coordination Team (TACT) work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure priorities are informed by evidence supporting the delivery of our resourcing programme to enable a professional, skilled and diverse workforce., As a national role the office location is flexible. The role may require travel for meetings in other Agency and Supply Partner offices. Overnight may also be necessary from time to time., Please note we do not assess CVs.     Ideally, you should have a resourcing background with experience in programme management. What is most important is your vision and ability to think outside the box.

    A key area of work for this role is supporting the delivery of our resourcing campaigns with key stakeholders (HR, Strategic Resourcing, EDI team and third party contractors). You'll need a good knowledge/experience of people matters, resourcing practices and programme delivery.

    Through your experience to date you will be able to demonstrate some of the following:

    Essential:

  • Experience of developing and supporting new ways of working, and building relationships quickly and effectively

  • Excellent planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver at pace to tight timescales.

  • The ability to engage and inspire others,

  • The ability to work autonomously,

  • Competent use of Microsoft Office and Excel

  • CIPD Membership (or willingness to work towards accreditation)


  • Desirable:

  • Programme/project management experience

  • Communication and Engagement experience
