Full Job Description

A part time opportunity - 22.5hrs (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) for a Clinical Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist has become available at Newham university Hospital.

This post offers a unique challenge for a highly motivated and experienced expert respiratory Physiotherapist with proven clinical experience, excellent communication skills and passion to support service development at our hospital. This is a clinical site-based role supported by the Clinical Leads, Head of Therapies and peer support via our network of Clinical Leads across Barts Health.

The post holder will be responsible for delivery and further development of a high-quality service across inpatient wards and critical care., You will take a lead supporting the MDT in the respiratory management and rehabilitation of patients. You will support the development of ward-based MDT and therapy skills of acute respiratory management, Optiflow, Non-Invasive ventilation, Tracheostomy management, decannulation and deep suctioning.
