Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Responsible Sourcing Manager to join our Strategic Sourcing and Sustainability Team for a 12-month FTC. The successful candidate will drive Linklaters' Responsible Sourcing programme, manage key projects, and enhance supplier engagement. This role is crucial in supporting our goal of being a leader in sustainability and responsible business practices, focusing on commitments relating to the environment, supplier diversity, and human rights. Your main responsibilities will include: Responsible Sourcing "Steady State" Delivery:

  • Ensure timely inputs and scoring in RFx processes based on the category of spend.
  • Complete supplier onboarding assessments promptly, providing feedback.
  • Engage with key suppliers using the EcoVadis platform.
  • Reporting Cycle:
  • Input both quantitative and qualitative data into annual sustainability reporting mechanisms.
  • Host the annual Supplier Sustainability Summit.
  • Responsible Business Credentials:
  • Enhance the firm's responsible business credentials through robust sourcing processes and policies.
  • Oversee the biennial refresh of the Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Continuous Improvement / Special Projects:
  • Develop a Tableau-based Responsible Sourcing dashboard.
  • Lead Scope 3 carbon reduction initiatives and supplier diversity programmes.
  • Support the sustainable transition to our new London HQ.
  • Communications, Engagement, and Training:
  • Create and implement internal engagement campaigns.
  • Maintain partnerships with advocacy groups and clients.
  • Coordinate sustainability workshops and training sessions., Private Medical Insurance

    Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in developing and implementing a Responsible Sourcing programme.
  • Intermediate or higher project management and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Familiarity with ESG supplier portals and the ability to analyse and report on social and environmental data.
  • Strong communicator, negotiator, and confident in driving initiatives.
  • Thorough, process-oriented, and committed to quality service.
