Full Job Description

DINING SERVICE:

  • Work with the General Manager, Restaurant Manager & Bar Manager to define the guest experience in all areas of the pub: Restaurant, Bar, Private Dining & Terraces
  • Deliver unrivalled service, based on the fundamentals of exceptional 'old school'; help bring this to life through hands on service in the restaurant, training & development and always leading by example
  • Display the recognition and intuitive service that makes guests ask: "how did you know?"
  • Always aim to surprise and delight
  • Tie in and bring together every section of the restaurant operation to create a "one team" ethos
  • Leading services with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Problem solving where necessary to ensure our guests have the best experience
  • Correct deviations from our standards in a polite, encouraging manner
  • Bring fun to the floor - when we smile, our guests smile with us.
  • FOOD & DRINK:
  • Work with the Kitchen team and F&B Management to deliver an offering that always reflects our ethos and values
  • Learn the story of The Wild Rabbit - why we operate the way we do, and why we offer the products we do
  • Always provide a 'connected' food & drink experience, ensuring the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and we tell our story through the dining experience
  • Make sure we are operating as sustainably as possible
  • SPECIAL EVENTS
  • Define the Private Dining experience - be creative and have fun with it!
  • Take an active role in tastings and experiences that enhance our guests' stay Work with our Events team & F&B team to organise social events throughout the year eg wine club; guest dinners, tastings in the wine cellar etc OPERATIONS & SERVICE
  • Be well versed on every section of the restaurant operation
  • Lead by example by displaying a can do attitude and willingness to "jump in" wherever needed - have the mentality that no job is too small!
  • To be an active participant in all aspects of the pub service
  • To highlight H&S matters to your line manager
  • Running EOD reports and reporting Daily Takings to wider management team
  • Assisting Bar Manager with monthly stocktakes where needed

    SALARY: 29,250
  • HOURS: Any 5 out of 7 days, late shifts and early shifts,
