Full Job Description

As a team member Kitchens, you will be assisting the cook with Preparing of meal ingredients, washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.

You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to be flexible as weekdays as well as weekend & evenings will be required. Additional hours may be available if required.

Main Duties:

Making scones, ciabattas, and sandwiches.
Washing, peeling, and preparing food ingredients.
Using equipment such as mixers, special knives, and cutters.
Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.
Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom.
Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock.
Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes, and pans.
Observing cooking times and correct temperatures.

We are looking for a Team Member Kitchen who has a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry. This is a very hands-on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills., Excellent food preparation and cooking techniques.
Ability to use and maintain various stovetops and meat slicers.
Ability to decorate and garnish food.
Ability to wash, peel and cut vegetables.
Ability to prepare a wide range of kitchen ingredients.
Basic knowledge of table service.
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
