Full Job Description

  • Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases, and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed
  • Liaison with office-holder and other case staff to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues
  • Ensure junior staff are briefed and motivated to complete cases efficiently
  • Review junior staff work and comment constructively on their performance
  • Provide training to junior staff through on-the-job experience
  • Ensure all work is reviewed and that files and completed to a state suitable for review. This included reviewing statutory aspects for compliance with insolvency regulations and relevant standards
  • Attend meetings with clients and a manager and/or office-holder
  • Identify opportunities where we may be able to offer further services
  • Assist the office-holder and manager to ensure that client needs are met - where possible, the service-level expectations of our clients should be exceeded
  • Opportunity to attend marketing events where appropriate
  • Prepare case reviews and brief office-holders on work carried-out and case issues
  • Assist managers and office-holders to manage WIP and debtors on a client-by-client basis

    Experience of corporate insolvencies essential - particularly administrations and liquidations
  • A good working knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements is required
  • Quick to learn, ability to adapt to new procedures and situations and operate in a fast-moving environment is advantageous
  • Must be able to work on several different assignments at one time
  • Ideally, CPI-qualified
