Do you enjoy working in a customer focused environment to ensure cleanliness? Do you love working as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers? At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit two part time In-Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Chapleford store on a permanment basis. 12 and 20 hours per week respectively and both with an hourly rate of £11.44. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift patterns for these roles are: 12 Hours per week Sunday: Day off Monday: Day off Tuesday: 09:30-12:30 Wednesday: 06:00-09:00 Thursday: 06:00-09:00 Friday: 06:00-09:00 Saturday: Day Off 20 Hours per week Sunday: 06:00 to 10:00 Monday: 06:00 to 10:00 Tuesday: 06:00 to 10:00 Wednesday: 06:00 to 10:00 Thursday: Day Off Friday: Day Off Saturday: 06:00 to 10:00 You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime. Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

  • Operating machinery
  • Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
  • At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
  • At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

    Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
