Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Retail HR Business Partner to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in the success of our stores and one where you can really make a difference by driving a successful people strategy within the region.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the regional leadership team where you will collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and a team of Area Managers where you will deliver a proactive, commercial and value adding HR service to the region, ensuring engagement and motivation to improve performance and grow talent across the functions.

Reporting into the Head of People Operations, as a Retail HR Business Partner you will be the regional expert on People and will provide generalist support across the People agenda.

This role is field based and will require travel across the North East and South East of England supporting up to circa 140 stores stores along with the opportunity to work from home.

  • Collaborate with the Region to implement the Retail People strategy.

  • Supporting and coaching the Area Manager teams to engage and inspire their store management teams to deliver excellent service and standards.

  • Driving talent and succession as a regional strategy to balance internal and external needs, ensuring there is a succession plan in place for the region which drives 85% internal promotion rate.

  • Effective implementation of people changes projects in conjunction with field management teams.

  • Leading on People projects for the wider business and be the subject matter expert for all People queries
