Full Job Description

  • Plan, oversee and report on the safe, legal and efficient day to day operation of our retail businesses on site in close cooperation with the client's own management team
  • Work alongside the senior management team to develop new concepts, review and drive innovation within our portfolio of venues, and ensure we remain at the forefront of current food and beverage trends
  • Recruit, train and mentor personnel within the retail team, ensuring excellent service standards across the business and nurturing a succession pipeline of internal talent for promotion and further development
  • Effectively manage costs and expenditure in coordination with other heads of department to ensure we consistently deliver a successful P&L without compromising on customer experience or client expectations

    Company of Cooks was formed in 1996 to run the catering services at Kenwood House on behalf of English Heritage. At the time, others said it set the standard for outdoor public space food service. Time Out awarded it a Red Star in their Annual Restaurant Guide and named it one of the top places to eat, then virtually unheard of for a visitor attraction catering operation.
