We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Retail Media Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for securing new advertising partnerships, selling retail media opportunities to external advertisers, and ensuring the successful fulfilment of all campaigns. Your role will span the entire lifecycle of retail media campaigns-from initial sales outreach, pitch, and negotiation through to campaign execution, optimisation, and reporting. You will work closely with advertisers, agencies, and internal teams to deliver high-quality campaigns that drive revenue and meet our clients' objectives. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital advertising and retail media, with strong sales, project management, and campaign execution skills. As a Retail Media Executive, you will: Sales & Business Development:
- Proactively identify and secure new retail media partnerships with brands, agencies, and third-party advertisers.
- Sell retail media solutions to prospective clients, clearly communicating the value of advertising on our retail platforms and the opportunities for increased visibility, sales, and ROAS.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential brands
- Work closely with the Head of UK and design to create tailored proposals and pitch presentations for new clients, highlighting key advertising opportunities across digital and retail channels.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with potential clients, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with overall business objectives. Client Management & Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key advertisers, agencies, and brands.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and campaign lifecycle, providing exceptional service and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Provide regular performance reports to clients, demonstrating campaign results and ROI, and recommend new opportunities for campaign optimisation and growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional media products and services to existing clients. Fulfilment:
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, marketing, operations) to ensure campaigns are executed on time and to the highest standards.
- Make real-time adjustments to optimise campaigns based on performance data (e.g., adjusting bids, refining audience targeting, optimising creative). Reporting:
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress against sales targets, pipeline development, and client feedback.
- Provide clients with regular performance updates, insights, and actionable recommendations for campaign improvements.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive post-campaign reports, highlighting key outcomes, insights, and areas of opportunity.
- Conduct regular campaign reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities for growth. Retail Media Strategy & Planning:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations within the retail media industry and incorporate this knowledge into your sales strategies.
- Build out a strategy planning document which houses all key themes and sales throughout the year, updating accordingly when new sales are made.
- Assist in the development and refinement of retail media product offerings, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and external advertisers. Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to identify new potential advertisers and track competitor activity.
- Use insights to build targeted media sales campaigns and identify areas for potential growth.
- Monitor and report on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive pricing to ensure that our retail media solutions remain competitive and innovative.
2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or media planning, ideally within retail media, digital advertising, or eCommerce. - Proven track record of securing new business and managing media partnerships with external advertisers or agencies.
- Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with intenral/external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Positive, 'can do attitude' that is solution orientated
- A genuine interest/background in beauty is a plus!
