Retail Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging and proactive Retail Supervisor to join our trading team at WWT Washington Wetland Centre.

The successful applicant will work alongside our Trading Manager to develop an inspirational and vibrant trading environment that provides an excellent visitor experience and maximises income generation.

You will support the retail, admissions, and membership operation, ensuring that you and those you supervise offer a second to none welcome and shopping experience. You will also support the kitchen and trading managers in the catering function of the site and in ensuring a dynamic, supportive, and professional team culture across all trading functions.

This role will work 28 hours a week, 4 or 5 days out of 7. Availability of working days will be discussed at interview although please note, some weekend working is essential.

assist and coach alongside the Trading & Kitchen Managers to ensure consistency and great development for your team
have an eye for detail and enjoy merchandising
have excellent communication and can adapt to the needs of others, building strong relationships with other departments
