Full Job Description
The role of Retention Support Officer involves working with students to provide early intervention support in the areas of wellbeing and welfare, and to be a point of contact for students who are care leavers., Although the role is generally 100% on campus, there may be opportunities for hybrid working for particular activities.
For these positions, we will consider both full time and part time appointments.
Hours to be agreed with the successful candidates.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place in person, on campus. Please note that the University may ask you to participate in a number of selection activities as part of the recruitment process for this vacancy.

- have experience delivering university wide events and campaigns to raise awareness in relevant areas

- have excellent organisation and time management skills
