This is an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Living Services Co-ordinator, who is passionate about delivering housing and tenancy services to older people, to become part of our highly supportive team at Maple West and Willow Barns.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, who takes pride in providing a professional and high-quality service to our customers.

Our residents are supported and enabled to maintain an independent lifestyle. As the Housing Management Co-ordinator, you will provide all aspects of tenancy management support and advice to all customers, promoting a friendly community atmosphere.

We are a partner of the Sapphire Consortium appointed to deliver 390 high quality retirement apartments as part of a PFI contract in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent city council.

What will I be responsible for doing?

You will be responsible for delivering quality Retirement Living Scheme services, ensuring that excellent customer service is achieved, performance is maximised and all activity supports the achievement of the Groups vision/PFI Contracts and is aligned with the needs of older people.

As our Retirement Living Services Co-ordinator, you will utilise your previous tenancy management skills, have knowledge of retirement/extra care housing, and work in partnership with the Scheme Manager, on-site facilities management and care providers, as well as external agencies to ensure customer's needs are always met.

It's a given, you will have great communication skills and be a true "people person", you will be commercially minded and always on the lookout for opportunities to improve and enhance YHG's service to our customers.

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)

  • Strong IT skills - e.g. Microsoft Outlook and Word

  • Experience of managing Older People's Housing Services

  • Experience of lettings and delivering tenancy managing services in retirement/extra care housing

  • Knowledge of retirement living housing and other services for older people in the wider community
