Retoucher

To enhance and refine visual content that elevates Astrid & Miyu as a cult brand. You will be delivering polished and impactful imagery that aligns with our creative vision, inspires our community, and amplifies our brand values. What does success look like?

• Ensuring all images are retouched to a consistent, top-tier standard, accurately colour-corrected, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Skilled in working with Mac systems, advanced in Adobe Suite, and knowledgeable about handling RAW files, as well as proficient in After Effects and Premiere Pro for video editing.
• Regularly update the team on project status and workload, providing transparency in timelines and deliverables.
• Adaptable within a fast paced environment, able to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
• Creating engaging GIFs and motion edits to enhance content variety.
• Strong command of colour correction techniques, image composition, and advanced skin retouching.
• A solid understanding of file formats, resolution requirements, and colour spaces to ensure optimised images across all media.
• Designs and upholds an efficient retouching workflow, ensuring organised file structures, correct naming, and high standards in quality control.
• Working closely with Producers and Production Assistant to manage the image sign-off process for accuracy and consistency.
• Partners with the team to ensure all files are correctly named and saved, and collaborating seamlessly with Photographers, Producers and freelance retouchers.
  
  2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Skilled and experienced in working with e-commerce, stylised photography, and campaign imagery.
• Committed to elevating creative output through accurate, consistent, and innovative imagery.
• Approaches challenges confidently and calmly, fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Builds productive relationships across departments, understanding product details thoroughly and integrating feedback effectively.
• Innovates within high-volume photographic workflows to streamline processes, reduce sign-off times, and enhance imagery quality.
• Skilled at balancing multiple projects and edits simultaneously.
• Stays up to date with the latest Adobe software updates to ensure cutting-edge work and seamless integration of new tools.
