Full Job Description

Are you a nurse whose NMC registration has lapsed and who misses working as a nurse and the rewards and challenges of caring for patients? Look no further. Together with our partner The University of Brighton we can help return you to the nursing profession., The placement Whittington Health offer is a voluntary pathway which will allow you to complete the required placement hours on a non-paid voluntary basis at your chosen hours per week. All DBS and occupational health checks for this route will be handled by the University of Brighton.

Return to Practice is supported by NHS England, applicants who reside in England are not required to pay any fees. There is a bursary of £1,000 which is payable by the Education provider, split across two payments., Whittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the way we look after our staff. We aim to employ a workforce which is as representative as possible of this population, so we are open to the value of differences in age, disability, gender, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, race, sexual orientation, and religion or belief. The Trustbelieves that as a public sector organisation we have an obligation to have recruitment, training, promotion and other formal employment policies and procedures that are sensitive to these differences. We think that by doing so, we are better able to treat our patients as well as being a better place to work.
