Full Job Description

As a RF Calibration Engineer you will be responsible for the calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment, working in a small team of engineers, specialising in RF equipment., Eurofins E&E delivers an extensive range of services covering all aspects of compliance, certification and testing for electrical and electronics products across all industries and market sectors and, in conjunction with companies in the wider Eurofins network, offers its customers a single point of contact for product approvals.

The position is not fully lab-based. Travelling to customers sites across the UK & Europe to complete calibrations will be required regularly (after training/probation) so being willing to travel is a necessity. A full UK driver's licence is preferable, but not critical to begin with; however, our expectation would be that a full licence would be obtained by the time probation ends. We provide the vehicles for work so a car is not necessary. Ideally we are looking for one of the following types of people:

  • Experienced engineer (2+ years) working with RF electronics
  • Someone who has completed an Electronics apprenticeship looking for the next step in their learning/career
  • Graduate (Electronics, Physics or an Electronics based degree)
  • The candidate must have excellent IT skills (especially MS Excel manipulation), be a fast learner, a good communicator (verbally) and be able to problem solve and travel / work alone or in a very small team (2-3 people).

Upon joining the Eurofins E&E UK team, you will receive a competitive package with good pension provision, training and development and the opportunity to progress in a growing and ambitious company. The post is full-time (37.5 hpw), and we offer five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays and company pension scheme.
