Join our Radio Frequency (RF) Technology Team to work on cutting-edge RF Directed Energy systems. As a scientist or engineer, you'll engage in theoretical studies, design tasks, and practical experiments, contributing to innovative technology development!, Security Clearance: British Citizen holding a DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance, or be willing to undertake the DV process. The opportunity: A vacancy has arisen in the Radio Frequency (RF) Technology Team of the Sparkworks department for a scientist or engineer to work in Bristol on the technology aspects of Radio Frequency Directed Energy systems. As part of the RF Technology team, you will work across a range of theoretical studies, design tasks and practical experiments to develop world-leading, ground breaking RF Directed Energy technologies and systems. You will be involved in the whole lifecycle, from bid to customer delivery, of a multitude of differing projects. These typically run from anywhere between six months and two to three years. • A graduate or experienced engineer with a strong engineering or science background and ideally having a higher degree (e.g. Masters or PhD) in a related discipline.
• Ability to work in a flexible manner to deal with fluid programme milestones and timescales.
• Able to plan, implement and report on practical laboratory investigations
• Able to operate computer simulation codes effectively
