Full Job Description
You will be joining a friendly and supportive Rheumatology Departments which provides comprehensive Rheumatology services for Derby and Burton together with South Derbyshire/ East Staffordshire & some parts of adjoining areas of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. There is dedicated therapy team and CNS team supporting consultants. There is a well thought of undergraduate and post graduate training programmes with plenty of opportunity to get involved in teaching. The Rheumatology department has Specialised Commissioning status and has well established MDTs with various teams within the Trust such as respiratory medicine, renal medicine. Consultants are encouraged to develop specialist interest., 1: Rheumatology: Provision with Consultant colleagues of a comprehensive Rheumatology and service to University Hospitals of Derby and Burton & surrounding areas, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis & treatment of illness, & the proper functioning of the department
