Rheumatology Osteoporosis and Fracture Liaison Coordinator

An Exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rheumatology/ Osteoporosis Unit. We are looking for a highly motivated Rheumatology Osteoporosis and Fracture Liaison Coordinator who will be responsible for providing bone density assessments to at risk patients and liaise with other specialities within the trust and general practitioners within the local area. The post holder will also be responsible for providing a fracture liaison service for patines over 50 years old , who present with low trauma fractures. Making sure that patients are correctly assessed and offered constructive advice., The postholder is expected to have a clear understanding of how this post contributes to the achievement of the trust vision of:

+ On a day to day basis manage one's own workload always be meticulous and well organised, prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met with minimum supervision.
+ Be flexible with the workload and demands of the Fracture Liaison Service and Rheumatology
+ Be proficient in the use of iClip, EPR, PAS, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
