Full Job Description

Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Rides & Attractions Team Leader to join our Rides & Attractions team! Working in this key operational department, you would be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of safety, guest care, cleanliness, and teamwork, through effective leadership and team development. You will manage the daily Rides & Attractions operation, including carrying out motivational team briefings, guest communication, ride breakdowns and park incidents. Instilling the company values, brand awareness and service standards within the team, as well as manage their performance and development in order for them to deliver outstanding levels of guest service and interaction. You will continually monitor ride throughputs and look at ways to increase them as well as use your initiative to make on the spot decisions, react, organise and help in areas of concern. Finally, you will ensure the team comply with Health & Safety requirements through the Code of Safe Working Practice. You must be available to work full time, 40 hours, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Team player and effective communicator
  • Strong organisational skills
  • It is desirable to have worked in a customer facing role with knowledge of guest care, service, and recovery
  • You will have the ability to capture the attention of a large group of people, always remaining composed and confident, even when under pressure
  • Experience working within an operational team is ideal.
  • Previous management experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
