Risk and Assurance Lead

To support the delivery of a training programme created to educate staff across the organisation in relation to risk management. This will involve delivering training sessions to management staff to ensure they are able to identify, assess and manage risks appropriately, in line with the Trusts policy and framework on risk management. To work alongside the Matron for Assurance and Quality Improvement to contribute to the delivery of the Trusts Patient Safety and Quality Strategy and associated programmes of work, linked to national and local requirements across the Trust. To play a key role in the development and maintenance of audit systems and processes to ensure robust feedback, monitoring and reporting of a variety of assurance metrics. Ensuring continual compliance with the CQC Regulatory Framework and Fundamental Standards, and with other quality associated regulatory bodies and their compliance requirements.
