Full Job Description

  • Work on our key project to ensure our Co-op is ready for the upcoming changes to the UK Corporate Governance Code.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to develop and champion a better approach to risk and control

  • Provide quality risk insights that relate to what matters so we can all deliver our strategy to grow and protect our business and give the business confidence that we're on track for success

  • Support the Project Lead in developing and embedding the risk framework across our business.

    A working knowledge and understanding of risk with some exposure to risk frameworks

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A talent for building positive relationships up to senior level across the business

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical risk terms to non-technical audiences

  • An enthusiasm for continuous improvement through managing risk
