Full Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development of data analysis and reporting systems for the Governance Team. Ensuring that robust and efficient systems are in place to enable the Trust to report effectively and maintain oversight of its key quality and safety requirements. The post holder will be responsible for producing, and under supervision analysing, interpreting and delivering high quality, consistent and timely data that support these requirements., The post holder is the Trust facilitator for the Risk Management System and under supervision will manage and develop the system to meet the changing reporting needs of the Trust for patient safety, risk and quality.

The post holder will ensure any changes in design or functionality of the database does not impact on the continued ability to extract reports on previous Trust structures, necessary for specialist reports e.g., Freedom of Information requests.

The post holder will be the in-house specialist for the database used throughout the Trust, supporting the provision of Trust wide support and training to staff at all levelsThe post holder will confirm to the Head of Patient Safety & Risk Management, that the information provided within the database is appropriate and meets key national and Trust requirements. In addition, they will also report to the Head of Patient Safety & Risk Management for consideration and decision , required changes in order to facilitate the production of meaningful reports and to maintain data quality and adherence to the Data Protection Act 2018.

The post holder will under supervision be responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the Trust Risk and Incident Management System, across a series of modules (Incidents, Complaints, PALs, Claims, Contacts, Safety Alerts and Risk).
