Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Risk Management Programme Monitoring Lead to take primarily responsibility for developing Turner & Townsend's second line of defence monitoring function, supporting the broader Risk Management team objectives. Working within the Global Ethics and Corporate Compliance function, this is a newly established, global role that will further professionalise monitoring activity across a diverse range of Risk Management areas, helping to provide risk insight, monitoring and testing programmes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Work with the Global Ethics and Corporate Compliance Director and Risk Management leadership team to shape the vision and direction of the RM monitoring programme globally;
  • Supporting the Risk Management team in their use of data to provide meaningful and actionable insight across different Risk Management areas,
  • The use of data analytics tools and ability to use technology to efficiently drive risk identification, reporting and management processes;
  • The development and delivery of a Risk Management Monitoring Plan and methodology, helping to drive consistency and efficiency in testing activity;
  • Support activities to manage SOX business requirements for the E&C programme;
  • Supporting due diligence and integration activities arising from M&A activity as required
  • Preparing monitoring reports and summaries to support a range of different stakeholder requirements, including various Turner & Townsend Boards and Committees

    Ideally to be professionally qualified in a legal or finance role e.g. a qualified lawyer, accountant or auditor;
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate complex risk topics to non-experts;
  • A proven rack-record of success in managing multiple stakeholders and successfully delivering compliance initiatives in a complex global business;
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering in a Risk/Compliance monitoring, auditing or continuous improvement role incorporating subject areas managed by the Turner & Townsend Risk Management team
