About the Opportunity Nuclear Power Programmes is one of the newest Business Units and has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power. Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero, and Energy Security. We are seeking a Risk Manager to report to the Risk Lead, supporting the Programme executive and Project Managers in the delivery of the Sizewell C Project. This role covers responsibility of development and maintenance of the Owners Scope Risk Register:

  • Develop and Manage Programme Risk Registers
  • Lead the identification and development of risk mitigation and/or action plans within the Programme Risk Registers
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining the Risk management Strategy/Plan
  • Conduct Qualitative & Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) on the Integrated Works Schedule and advise Programme Directors of key areas of Risk to allow for mitigative actions
  • Organise and Facilitate workshops of large numbers of Project Managers to ensure all Risks are captured
  • Work with other Risk Managers to ensure Risks are not duplicated across other Programmes
  • Here's what you'll need:
  • Demonstrable use of numerical and verbal communication skills within a business environment
  • Membership of one or more risk or project management organisation e.g. APM, PMI, IRM, CERA or a suitable equivalent.
  • P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning tool experience
  • Demonstrable Risk Management experience on Major Projects/ Programmes
  • Risk management - Vocational or Formal training
  • Monte-Carlo data analysis tool experience
  • Experience of developing QSRA models
  • Enterprise risk management application knowledge
