We are looking for a Risk Manager to join our team. Our vision for Product Safety and Compliance is to support Amazon's mission of offering the widest selection of products available, while protecting customers. We are looking for a smart, energetic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our Worldwide Private Brand Product Safety and Compliance Team as a Risk Manager. The position will be located in London. This role requires working with internal stakeholders and business teams across the company to develop innovative solutions to safety & compliance requirements. You will enable new business opportunities by designing operations to support execution of a broad range of product compliance matters. You will work directly with business leadership, sourcing teams, Compliance operations, Quality, and a variety of internal business partners and external vendors to drive product compliance across the supply chain. The successful candidate shows excellent judgment and instincts in decision-making and proactively and continually improves their level of knowledge about Amazon's business, its platform, and relevant technologies. The successful candidate is passionate about protecting Amazon customers, Amazon owned brands, and Amazon's bottom line. This role is expected to leverage operational experience and knowledge while influencing cross-functional business and development teams. Managing project timelines, resources and stakeholder communication are required for on-time and successful completion of projects.   • Experience of managing risk programs / risk management projects. Execute workflows, monitor SLAs and operational excellence mechanisms.
  • Significant experience in leveraging and influencing cross-functional teams and track record of consistently delivering valuable projects.
  • Ability to identify process improvements, efficiencies and program managing their delivery, working with different teams
  • Ability to communicate expectations and requirements with business and technology teams, and capacity to write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals, performing your own data analysis as necessary
  • Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges
  • Promote a culture of compliance, proactively engaging with retail business teams to identify business problems and communicating effective deliverables.

We are looking for a smart, energetic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our Worldwide Private Brand Product Safety and Compliance Team as a Risk Manager.

    Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Experience in program or project management - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Experience defining and executing program requirements, Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience leading process improvements - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
