Full Job Description

Burberry is looking for an RMP Assistant to support the effective and efficient management of raw materials within our childrenswear category. You will help achieve functional quality standards, build strong supplier relationships, and streamline processes such as ordering, cost negotiation, stock management, and on-time delivery. Strategic thinking and technical expertise are essential for success in this role.,

  • Support procurement strategy in partnership with senior management for the CHW Product Categories.

  • Maintain continuous dialogue with the business to understand current and future needs.

  • Develop and maintain a robust supplier matrix.

  • Build collaborative relationships with key suppliers, ensuring two-way communication and performance feedback.

  • Assist in supplier management, including selection, onboarding, negotiation, capacity, risk, and performance.

  • Participate in negotiating cost, lead time, and minimums for raw materials (RMs).

  • Track supplier performance against KPIs, report results, and suggest improvements.

  • Contribute to sustainability efforts, industry networking, and enhancing technical knowledge.

    A year of experience in textiles or fashion.

  • A technical degree in textiles or a related field.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Fluent in Italian or Chinese, advantageous.

  • Proficient in advanced Excel.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
