Full Job Description

· Working towards a F2F team target to sign up new regular supporters / members through approaching and engaging in conversations and persuading the public in an appropriate manner as an RNLI representative

· Acting appropriately and working with other RNLI departments at large F2F events

· Motivate self and others to ensure relevant targets are met

· Ensure RNLI core messages and values are delivered professionally and accurately

· Complete supporter/membership forms accurately and store securely. Ensure these are checked by senior member of F2F team

· Be responsible for hire vehicles and logging any damage to the appropriate RNLI staff member

· Required to work flexible hours from Sunday to Saturday

· Ensure RNLI best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements, in line with standards and guidelines provided during training

· Promptly ensure more senior team members are informed of any queries relating to fundraising opportunities, prize donations, high level donations or any relevant public enquiry, concern or complaint.

· To become involved in other ad hoc tasks as required.

You'll need to be self-motivated and happy working to targets and vibrant, friendly, outgoing personalities are a must. Day to day you'll be working in pairs to talk with the public, inspiring them to become financial supporters and educating them about coastal safety. You'll be working with a variety of people in different locations, so every day is varied

RNLI face-to-face fundraising is a job with a difference. You'll inspire support for our lifesavers' amazing work, and you'll also play a vital role in educating the public on how to respect the water.

Join our fundraising teams on the beach, at festivals and at indoor events. We'll make sure you're given excellent training so that you feel confident in what you're talking about and comfortable approaching people.

Pay: £12.30 per hour
