Road Logistics Customer Service Specialist

We are currently recruiting for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our hugely successful Aerospace & Defence Road Logistics team in Bristol as a Customer service Specialist. Our department is ever growing, so the opportunity for career progression is achievable Your Role You will provide high levels of customer service and operational support to our Aerospace and Defence client base. Compliance is very important within this vertical so attention to detail is absolutely key. Your Responsibilities

• Assist in servicing both internal and external customers
• Provide support of specific customers and team members
• Liaise with relevant parties to organize the movement of goods
• Address any issues during shipments and keep clients updated to mitigate impacts
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and transit conditions for military rated items
• Handle sales and purchase invoices
• Foster and develop a team culture
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure all compliance training is up to date
  
  Five GCSEs at grades 3 - 7 / A- C, including Maths and English, or equivalent
• Freight forwarding experience
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
