Full Job Description

A newly created role and team, this role is part of our Robotic Process Automation programme which looks to identify and implement automation solutions to improve productivity and efficiency within People and OD services.
The RPA Developer role is responsible for designing, creating, testing of Robotic Process Automation processes that will interact with multiple third-party applications
You will act as the technical specialist for RPA and be responsible for the design and creation of RPA solutions and for the integration of these into, and between, existing Trust systems. You will participate in all areas of the robotic automation development, including design, creation, versioning control, testing, documentation, technical implementation, deployment and monitoring, providing cost-effective, risk-controlled, robust, reliable, responsive and secure automation solutions
This role comes with full training and support to develop the specific skills you will need to work as part of a team to identify, develop and implement automations across People and OD services., In this role you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to streamline People and OD administration processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer service within the Trust. You should be educated to degree-level, ideally in a computer science/IT-related field (or have equivalent experience). You will need strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities, with the capacity to understand complex problems, but be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical people. Experience of working with automation technologies in healthcare or the NHS would be an advantage.
