Full Job Description

The purpose of the Operation Centre team is to ensure that theorganisation and NHS funded organisations within England are preparedto appropriately and efficiently respond to and recover from all businesscontinuity, critical, major incidents and significant operational challengesand events, thus ensuring the continued delivery of healthcare at all timesremains focused on the wellbeing of the patient and the population. The Team works across the Midlands region, interacting closely with theDepartment of Health and Social Care, Public Health England and NHSEngland and NHS Improvement Regional colleagues, and multi-agencypartners, at strategic, level, to ensure a coordinated response. The Team manages and delivers the national on-call out of hours functionto enable the coordinated response to major incidents and emergencies.The Team responds to ad hoc events related to wider NHS resilienceabove and beyond the typical major incident scenarios., The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Midlands region to support the work of the Operations Centre team in delivering the operational implementation of national policies; and development of long-term business plans for major Operational requirements., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
