Full Job Description

We are on the lookout for an operative to join our successful Home Repairs Service (HRS) team to undertake high quality, pro-active repairs to our properties and make the difference to our customers in our 7000 homes., We have homes across North Somerset, Bristol and Swindon. As one of our operatives, you will be assigned a specific area where you will work the majority of the time, but on occasion you may have to work in another business area (with prior notice).

Our Home Repairs Service are a great mix of being effective, providing repairs and maintenance to our properties whilst being awake to opportunity to help our customers further whilst on the job. They also take advantage of upskilling and development opportunities within their role alongside our enhanced pension scheme and paid sickness entitlement.

We will be reviewing applications and interviewing candidates as they are received, therefore we would recommend submitting an application as soon as possible as the vacancy may close early.

We are seeking someone with a good knowledge of repairs work within domestic properties, holding a strength in roofing and having some experience in other trades.

Our Repairs team are also great at customer service and have experience using tablets and mobile phones at work. All of our operatives receive a company van when they join us, so a full driving licence is required., Disability Confident
