Room Leader

Supervising a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring adherence to safeguarding procedures
- Serving as a positive role model to the children in your care
- Promoting teamwork and effective communication among practitioners and parents.
- Promoting high-quality care through positive role modelling, implementing effective assessment and planning processes and continuous reflective practice

A Recognised childcare qualification (e.g. NVQ level 3 or above in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and statutory requirements in early years settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with staff, parents.
- Sound understanding of child development theories and age-appropriate activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead by example.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with best practices in early years education.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
