As an RCA analyst you will be a key member of the FCA-regulated analysis function. Sitting within Curry's 'First Line of Defence' operation, your main responsibilities will include working as part of a small team of MI experts focusing on compliance risks within the Insurance Business. The analyst will have a keen eye for detail and be able to spot trends in data across a range of different data sets.
The role holder will have responsibility for a variety of tasks including the detailed analysis of MI (Management Information), and complaints relating to FCA regulated products and correlation of these to business performance. Tasks will also include weekly analysis on complaints and NPS, monthly management & productions of management summaries and the communication of results to internal & external stakeholders and colleagues.
You will also be supporting and working closely with the RCA Manager to share findings gathered from any analysis carried out. You will have previous experience of conducting in-depth analytical tasks and will look for new ways to present findings and enjoy bringing to life their findings for numerous stakeholder groups.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
-Carry out regular trend analysis and provision of in-depth insight for business leaders using multiple data sources such as compliance data, dashboard data, complaints and other KPIs.
-Provide insight on 'critical to compliance' measures for the regulated business dashboards on a monthly basis e.g. Claims & complaints drivers.
-Conduct Root Cause Analysis and proactively identify operational improvement opportunities that deliver customer satisfaction, enhanced compliance, cost reduction and revenue growth
-Share findings with 3rd Party Stakeholders & Internal Stakeholders
-Work as part of a team & look for new ways to present findings and enjoy bringing to life findings for numerous stakeholder group
-Support the Operations Manager - Vendor Management & RCA Manager in championing the 'Voice of the Customer' across the company to improve the service delivered
-Perform ad hoc data analysis as required
-Maintain excellent knowledge of FCA regulation and related principles
-Conduct Ad-hoc complaints analysis on areas which act as a risk to our business/ customers
You will need:
-Experience of working in a complex, fast-paced business environment
-Being able to manage multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously within short time scales
-Use of root cause analysis tools and techniques and being able to manipulate data
-Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal and able to present recommendations to wider audience
-Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills (pivot tables, Lookups, Macros etc)
-Eye for detail - identifying trends and non-compliance
-Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
-Highly numerate
-Good customer facing skills
-Experience of statistical analysis
