We're looking for a Root Cause Analyst to join our Co-op Business Services (CBS) team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of uncovering, and understanding the root causes behind issues like complaints, risks, and vulnerability-helping us make things better for our customers every day. You'll play a key role in driving improvements by identifying and recommending solutions to address root causes, while also sharing insights with the wider team to help bring about meaningful change that directly enhances the customer experience.   • Identify root cause, corrective & preventive actions in order to reduce risks and improve customer experiences
  • Conduct analytics on related data to identify common themes and the major areas or focus that will result in the highest added value
  • Continuously seeking new and improved working methods, with an awareness of industry standards and developments
  • Use data and recognised methodologies to identify root cause to support the implementation of process and system changes
  • Develop a strong understanding of business areas where you can establish a rhythm and routine for creating tailored reports, documenting problems, causes, solutions, and outcomes

    Experience in root cause analysis, process improvement, and working in Business Services or a regulated financial industry
  • Strong analytical thinking and data research skills to develop insights and solve problems
  • Ability to identify risks, drive continuous improvement, and report in line with policies and procedures
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships across teams and business areas
  • Ability to stay resilient and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a high degree of autonomy
