Are you a leader with an aptitude for out of the box thinking and a keen eye for detail?

The Medical and Emergency Care division are seeking a tenacious team leader to join the Medical Rostering and Recruitment team. Primarily you will supervise and support our team of coordinators to ensure our rosters are delivered and executed in a cost-effective way that does not compromise on quality or safety.

Alongside this, you will work with the Deputy General Manager to monitor and evaluate all areas of performance, strategically plan for additional demands and help deliver quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsive to our dynamic environment and able to maintain a kind and compassionate demeanour under pressure., To lead the operational day to day running of the Rota Team including the design and implementation of systems and processes to achieve this, in particular:

To oversee the team of Lead Rota Coordinators who monitor and co-ordinate medical and nursing rotas across the Division.

To act as the escalation point for issues regarding Resident Doctor/Nurse rostering (e.g. sickness absence reporting, annual leave, study leave, shift swaps, locum cover).

Conduct back to work interviews, maternity risk assessments etc. with Resident Doctors and Nurses where required.

Work with the Management Team to ensure achievement of agreed savings targets (CIPS) in the financial year in collaboration with the Directorate Finance manager.
