Full Job Description

The successful applicant will be involved in medicines reconciliation, supporting stock management, dispensing for discharge initiatives and preparation of medicines for discharge including through near patient satellite pharmacies. Rotating through various clinical specialities, you will work with the pharmacists as part of the ward based team to provide an efficient and accurate clinical pharmacy service to patients at ward level.

We encourage applications from pre-registration pharmacy technicians with medicines management experience who are due to qualify in the coming months and applications from experienced Pharmacy Technicians who are looking to move into ward based medicines management from other relevant settings. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be organised, motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt quickly to new situations.
