Full Job Description

  • Provide specialist occupational therapy for a wide range of patients requiring assessment and rehabilitation in acute inpatient, and community environments.
  • Provide clinical supervision and appraisal for Band 5 occupational therapists, therapy assistants and students, depending on rotation.Participate in ongoing service evaluation and development.
  • The post holder will be working in a challenging socio-economic environment, involving patients who have highly complex social problems and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.

    If you are an experienced Band 5 or an existing band 6 keen to develop your expertise, this post will offer you the opportunity to increase your specialist skills in the assessment and treatment of acute and long term conditions in a variety of settings; in-patient, intermediate care, community and outpatient.
