Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic full time band 6 Dietitian to join our Imperial multidisciplinary Bariatric services team based at St Marys Hospital. The post holder will be one of two rotational band 6 positions, working in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, throughout the Bariatric patient pathway. This rotation will focus on pre-operative behaviour change support and then rotate into providing post-operative advice. Both positions help manage a variable bariatric inpatient caseload including enteral tube feeding when indicated. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based clinical service and will receive regular clinical supervision from expert Band 7 dietitians.
We are a large, high profile, forward thinking and friendly department involved in dietetic student placements and supportive of continual professional development for all staff members., + To provide a specialist dietetic service to the Bariatrics services at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
+ To work in liaison with the Clinical Lead Dietitian in the development, delivery and evaluation of the post.
+ This Band 6 Dietitian position is one of two rotational posts working in the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust specialist Bariatric Dietetic services.
+ This post covers both in and outpatient work; the individual must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the management of patients in the specialist area.
