Full Job Description

Are you an experienced and forward-thinking RPA Developer that can support in our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) journey, using your expertise to contribute to the future of RPA within VWFS? You will design, develop, and implement innovative automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, create detailed process documentation, and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of RPA bots. Are you enthusiastic about the use of technology and have an ability to provide a communication 'bridge' between the business and technologists? This is a great role for a self-starter, keeping your finger on the pulse and, getting stuck into operational projects that put our customers at the heart of everything we do This is what your day might look like:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyse business processes, identify automation opportunities, and gather detailed requirements.
  • You will utilise our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) toolset to develop, test, and implement efficient, maintainable, and easily understandable automation solutions.
  • Ensure optimal performance by regularly monitoring and maintaining RPA robots, promptly addressing any issues to minimise downtime.
  • You will work closely with Business Analysts, change agents, and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of business requirements in Process Design Documents (PDDs).
  • Create and maintain essential automation documentation, including Solution Design Documents, IDPs, Handover Documents, etc.
  • You will ensure that RPA solutions comply with organisational policies and security standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of changes into the overall business process landscape, identifying and addressing potential upstream and downstream impacts.
  • You will generate performance reports from automation tools to support benefit realisation.
  • You will actively participate in sprint ceremonies, capturing, analysing, and understanding potential impacts, risks, issues, gaps, and assumptions.

    Enthusiasm for leveraging technology and possess the ability to bridge communication between business and technologists.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Proven technical experience in designing, developing, and implementing RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath or Power Automate.
  • Certification in RPA tools UiPath is Mandatory and Power Platform is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on RPA development.
  • Proven technical experience in designing, developing, and implementing RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath or Power Automate.
  • Experience working with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with process analysis, design, and optimisation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated in previous roles.
  • Experience in managing and supporting RPA robots in a production environment.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Previous experience in Financial Services, Automotive Finance, or Retail Consumer Finance (B2C) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the following technologies:
  • Programming Languages: C#, VB, Python, PowerShell, HTML, CSS
  • Database Technologies: MySQL, Oracle
  • Version Control Systems: Git
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure
  • Other Technologies: APIs, JSON, XML, SAP
