Full Job Description

  • Oversee the development of RPA bots using industry-leading RPA tools and technologies in order to streamline abcam's workflows and enhance productivity globally.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to help translate business requirements into solutions , providing technical expertise and guidance to improve RPA practices at abcam.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of RPA bots .
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure a robust and secure RPA environment and c oordinate the deployment of RPA bots into production environments .
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, reliability, reusability and maintainability of the automation solutions as well as adherence to industry best practices.
  • The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an RPA Developer or RPA Tech Lead, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in RPA platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere, and Microsoft Power Automat e and a solid understanding of RPA architecture, development methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficient in programming languages like C#, Java, or Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering solutions that drive business value
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Working with databases including experience in SQL and NoSQL
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation .
