Full Job Description

An opportunity for a Centre Support Manager exists within Resilience Wing at the Royal Air Force Robson Resilience Centre Crickhowell (RRCC). You will be responsible for all support functions required of a busy Centre.
This critical role controls the annual finances for all purchases required for the running of the Centre including, staff & student clothing/equipment, hired facilities and all travel & subsistence costs, requiring a developed understanding of financial management.
The Successful candidate will manage the daily upkeep of the estate, including all maintenance required, all infrastructure projects and prepare for all health & safety, security and fire audits. The post holder is required to be able to work independently and with autonomy, to ensure that any work progression is for the best outcomes of the organisation.
You will also be responsible to the Officer in Command for any direct support and work closely with a team of Civil Servants.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week., Post Holders Tasks and Responsibilities:
Finances and Infrastructure
Control the finances for all purchases required for the running of the Centre including, staff & student clothing and equipment, all travel and subsistence costs.
Provide monthly Forecast of Out-turn to business manager and internal monthly spend.
Manage the in-year spending plan including maintaining an up to date 5 year plan, holding monthly finance meetings and keeping accurate records.
Manage the in-year infrastructure/maintenance plan including review and updating the forecast plan, holding monthly infrastructure meetings, keeping accurate records and liaising with Reserve Forces Cadet Association and other external agencies.
Prepare for all annual Centre Audits and is responsible for creating any required action plans.
Responsible to OC RRCC the Robson Academy of Resilience Business Manage to support the management of RRCC’s ePC account.
Arranging for transactional & functional uplifts to be set in place.
Manage Welfare & Amenities (non-public) fund. Reconcile account against monthly bank statements and provide annual accounts for AGM.
Any other duties as directed to by the Officer in Command.

Experience in managing finances.
Cat B Driving License - Required for occasional Duty Travel.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working.
