Full Job Description

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated candidate to join us, where your overall purpose will be to provide specialist support in relation to estimation of vehicle speeds from CCTV cameras, using photographic, surveying and video imaging techniques. You will contribute towards the delivery of a comprehensive Forensic Collision Investigation service to the Criminal Justice System for high profile incidents.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to progress their career within a field which continues to develop and offer exciting new areas of innovation and development, which will be supported with training and the provision of cutting edge equipment to ensure evidence provided is robust.

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to articulate and present evidence in court, and is capable of displaying a high level of problem solving using mathematics and media sources. Ideal candidates will be self-confident, capable of learning quickly, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a close team.

As part of your role you will be expected to attend collision scenes and work with incidents which can be of a sensitive or traumatic nature.

This role does follow a flexible working pattern of Monday to Friday, however, out of hours working may occasionally be requested to assist with ongoing investigations., Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused because it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
