Full Job Description

The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and a good knowledge of the RTT guidelines. They will work closely with the Operational Management Team and liaise with the administrative and clinical staff to progress patient pathways and ensure accuracy of waiting lists., 1) Process referrals, both paper and electronic, for Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial, Orthodontics and Oral Surgery, Corneo and General Specialties.

2) To ensure that external referrals received are dealt with in accordance with hospital policy, assessing and responding to each referral in an appropriate and timely manner.

3) Monitor the RTT18 Patient Target List (PTL) on a daily basis in conjunction with all departments, querying and investigating patient pathway status.

4) Investigate and escalate queries concerning more complex patient pathways.

5) Responsibility for validating clock start dates and closing patient pathways when appropriate.

6) Assist all administrative staff with RTT18 queries.
