Full Job Description

Lancashire Constabulary's HQ PSD, Anti-Corruption Unit is seeking an Audit & Systems Monitoring Officer to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.

The purpose of this role is to assist Lancashire Constabulary in meeting its legal obligations in respect of its Data Protection and information security requirement through the application of a regime of compliance audits.

To utilise systems monitoring software and processes to interrogate a wide range of force systems to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the information held and to identify systems misuse, breaches of force policy and other corrupt activities.

To work within a confidential environment alongside a team of investigators and other specialists to pro-actively detect all aspects of malpractice.

To support the Professional Standards Department by providing detailed evidential audit reports for use in misconduct and criminal investigations.
