Full Job Description

We are a small team that provide vital support for operational policing in Lancashire. The teams consist of 3 system engineers and a senior engineer.

The team are responsible for the availability of the following systems;

  • Airwave radio fleet including configuration, fleetmap and ongoing maintenance. This includes working with radio code plugs on vehicle and hand held radios


  • ICCS (Integrated Communications Control System) configuration and maintenance. Core to the control room, this equipment is the primary point of dispatch with our Contact Centre.


  • 999 recording system,


  • The days can be varied, one day you maybe configuring equipment, the next day you may be at one of our hill top sites supervising contractors. We also work to national guidelines to ensue our systems are compliant and interoperable.
