Full Job Description

This post seeks to offer specialist knowledge within the Trust. The post holder will be responsible as part of a team for supporting the staff across the Organisation to implement good practice around Safeguarding Adults with Think Family approach. This will include delivering training, responding to queries from staff and gathering information around safeguarding concerns that are raised. The post holder will also be working to embed the Mental Capacity Act into practice across the Organisation.

The post holder will primarily be based at Salford Royal Hospital, covering acute and community health services provided by the Northern Care Alliance (NCA), with occasional travel to other acute and community sites across Bury, Rochdale and Oldham.

The post holder will support the Named Nurses for Safeguarding Adults to participate in multi-agency Safeguarding Adult Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews and occasionally alongside Safeguarding Children colleagues with Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews.
