Full Job Description

Provide point of contact for the safeguarding team ensuring that a professional service is provided in all dealings with staff, service users, stakeholders and the public.
Dealing with both telephone and face-to-face requests in a confident and professional manner.
Maintain stock of stationary and ensure the office is fully equipped.
To provide administrative support for the integrated Safeguarding Team, including setting dates, booking rooms, the organisation of meetings, filing and gathering information.
To locate hospital records for the Safeguarding team
To utilise Social Media to promote the integrated safeguarding team
To manage correspondence/e-mails and enquiries in relation to adult and children safeguarding
Preparing of a timetable for visitors to the team utilising team diaries
Typing and formatting documents, spread sheets, databases and presentations, using appropriate MS Office functions and to tight deadlines.
Maintain effective pending, planning and filing systems (electronic and/or paper) with a view to support progress to a paper light environment.
Regular use of Medway, EDIS and other Trust IT systems.

This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills. Whilst this role is initially based in Chesterfield there may be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community which we may talk to you about in the future.

You will provide a high quality administrative service to the integrated safeguarding team, including a wide variety of interesting admin tasks to support your mandatory and chosen modules to fulfil the qualification.
With this in mind an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated safeguarding team for a 2 year contract to provide a comprehensive administrative role supporting a range of specialist practitioners who work with some of our most vulnerable patients across adults and childrens services. We are looking for a diverse individual who is looking to gain a range of experience that will help you in a future career, hopefully within the NHS . Alongside this you will be working towards NVQ level 3 in Business Admin via a college provider. This role is only available to those who are 18 and over due to the type of care the team deliver.
