Safeguarding Children Advisor

The main duties include not only rotating in to Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), But also : -

• Registered Nurse / health visitor / School nurse or equivalent
• Degree qualification or equivalent
• Relevant post post registration qualification
Knowlege and undestanding Essential
• Knowledge of MCA, safeguarding children legislation and children's act's and working together
• Knowledge of safeguarding risk
• Sound understanding of safeguarding governance
Experience Essential
• Safeguarding post qualification experience ( what elements of safeguarding have been covered in their present role)
